Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a valuable diagnostic imaging tool that we can use to assess many conditions in our pets. At Echo Lane Animal Clinic, we utilize our ultrasound to view the intra-abdominal structures, to FAST assessment of clinical health and to look for muscular and tendon injuries. We are able to perform ultrasound guided aspirate and biopsies, increasing the likelihood that we will obtain an accurate sample with less risk. We even use our ultrasound to verify location of the bladder to assist in sample acquisition of urine if a voided sample is not possible. The ultrasound images can be reviewed by a board certified specialist through our telemedicine service.
